The Junior Bavarian Open will take place from August 31 to September 5, 2026, at the TC Schießgraben facility in Augsburg. This international junior tournament in the J30 category is part of the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors and is thus firmly established in the global competition calendar for young tennis players.
The tournament will be played in the U18 age group with a 32-player field for both boys and girls—a total of 64 players will compete in the singles and doubles events. A preliminary round played in a group format will be followed by the final rounds. Participants are traveling from all over Europe as well as from Australia, South Africa, China, and the U.S. For ambitious young talents from the region, the tournament is a rare opportunity to showcase their skills on the international stage right on their home turf.
mopla is sponsoring the tournament as the regional mobility partner. On the courts, perimeter advertising and net banners ensure a strong presence, and the branded mopla myway van is parked at the entrance. The mopla app is available for travel to and from the event—featuring integrated bus and train service, the digital Deutschlandticket, and mopla myway as a fixed-price ride-hailing service. From Augsburg. For Augsburg.
The tournament is made possible by the dedication of numerous volunteers from TC Schießgraben, as well as an ITF chief umpire and twelve umpires. The event is organized by bavarian junior open GbR.
The final rounds are underway, with the doubles finals to follow on Friday. Admission is free.
