Laugna (near Augsburg), May 01, 2025 - The mobility provider mopla has gained the German artist Sido as a prominent brand ambassador. At the heart of the cooperation is a cross-media activation campaign that will culminate in an exclusive concert in Ferropolis. The aim is to draw public attention to mobility opportunities and gaps, particularly in rural areas, and to position mopla as an innovative platform for everyday mobility solutions. The Dortmund advertising agency Coconut Heads is responsible for the creative implementation.
"I've always believed that my music moves people. mopla does that too. Fits!" says Sido.
Sido is one of Germany's best-known artists. For 25 years, he has stood for change, authenticity and broad social connectivity - first provocative, then reflective, today both. Characteristics that mopla also embodies.
He has a history that makes him tangible, but no past from which one would have to craft an advertising narrative. Today, he hardly ever travels by bus or train himself. But many people who listen to his music do, every day. Some use public transport because it's practical. Others because they have no alternative.
According to the company, the decision to use Sido is therefore not classic testimonial marketing, but a strategic step to convey a socially relevant message: Mobility should not be a question of where you live.
"Sido reaches a diverse target group and enjoys a high level of credibility. For us, the focus is not on the celebrity, but on the opportunity to intensify the discussion about equal mobility in regions with expansion potential with his support," says Robert Kamischke, CEO of mopla.
Users can obtain information about local scheduled services, book on-demand services such as on-demand buses or on-demand transport, use mopla myway as a private transport service or purchase digital tickets.
The focus is on regions where existing mobility infrastructures are often inadequate. The company works with local authorities, transport companies and regional partners to enable sustainable mobility that is suitable for everyday use.
The aim is to create alternatives to private transport without having to rely on urban infrastructure.
The need for innovative mobility solutions in rural areas is underlined by current figures:
These figures show the urgent need for action for sustainable mobility solutions outside urban centers. Especially in times of economic hardship, the so-called MIV is an additional financial challenge for many!
The grand finale of the campaign is the Sido - mopla Open Air on 05.09.2025 in Ferropolis.
Tickets are available at Eventim and all known advance booking offices:

The concert highlight in Ferropolis will also be accompanied by an exclusive influencer event. Selected creators will come together in a specially designed area. In this way, mopla is focusing on authentic reach and creating additional attention for the socially relevant message of the campaign.
"Mobility is not an abstract concept, but an everyday reality. We wanted to develop a campaign that not only communicates, but also moves loudly - on digital channels as well as live on stage," says Alborz Hosseini, Managing Director of Coconut Heads.
Coconut Heads is a brand performance agency based in Dortmund. The agency develops creative communication strategies for data-driven, measurable brand experiences.
With an interdisciplinary team of strategists, designers and performance specialists, Coconut Heads has been supporting companies on the path to digital brand management since 2014. With Sido as a partner, mopla creates a campaign that is economically, socially and emotionally convincing.
In a market where many rural regions are still waiting for mobility solutions, mopla is positioning itself as a driver of real change - with relevance instead of just reach.
