On Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., MoPla MyWay GmbH and the neighboring KS AUTOGLAS ZENTRUM jointly opened their doors, offering a behind-the-scenes look at two businesses that are usually only visible when something is needed: a vehicle or a new windshield. For MoPla MyWay, the event also marked the public unveiling of its new location, which has been in operation since July 1, 2026.

The focus was on what usually goes unnoticed in everyday life. Anyone who wanted to could take a look inside the vehicles, get an explanation of how to book a ride through the mopla app, or talk to the people who are on the road every day: the drivers and the dispatch team. Next door, colleagues from KS AUTOGLAS ZENTRUM demonstrated just how much precision work goes into replacing a windshield.

A raffle with the grand prize of a free trip to the Munich Oktoberfest, face painting for the young guests, and food and drinks sold to benefit a good cause ensured that the day—spent under beautiful sunshine—offered great insights into the operations of the car rental company and the Autoglas Zentrum. A visit from Mayor Reinhard Greiner and the local Neusäß press rounded out the day perfectly.

All proceeds from food sales were donated in full to the Tagesmütter Augsburger Land e.V.

The decision to choose this recipient was a deliberate one. The organization facilitates and supports child daycare in the Augsburg region, thereby performing exactly the kind of work that holds a region together in everyday life: reliable, local, and often behind the scenes.

The location is set to grow

The day was also used to look ahead. mopla myway is deliberately focusing on establishing its own location in the region to build mobility from the region for the region. Neusäß is set to grow steadily: The company is investing in vehicles, infrastructure, and personnel, thereby creating local jobs for drivers, dispatchers, and other operational roles. Several interested parties approached the company for a conversation as early as Saturday.

The range of services is also being expanded. Starting this school year, mopla myway will take over recurring transportation services for optional school transportation, including for the town of Neusäß and the ISA. In addition, the company will provide logistics services such as the delivery of medications. Plans also include partnerships with regional businesses and institutions, as well as with restaurants, clubs, and event organizers—ranging from club trips to safe round-trip transportation to and from festivals in the region.

MoPla MyWay GmbH is an independent car rental and mobility company headquartered in Neusäß. Since July 1, 2026, the company has been operating its own location there to serve the Augsburg district, with its own fleet of vehicles and staff from the region.
