Dublin/Laugna, July 2024 - MoPla Solutions, a pioneer in the digitalization of public transport, is partnering with payment infrastructure platform Stripe to enable the sale of the digital Deutschlandticket via local transport companies. The innovative Stripe Connect solution offers secure and efficient payment processing that improves access to public transport for local people.

MoPla Solutions, founded in 2022 in Laugna near Augsburg, is committed to the digitalization of local transport and aims to make public transport services more flexible and environmentally friendly, especially in rural areas. The company uses the digital mobility platform mo.pla to coordinate the various local public transport services. The platform was introduced in municipalities in Saxony-Anhalt in the year it was founded and is now being used by other public transport companies in various regions of Germany to offer passengers a better service.

Users can also book the digital Deutschlandticket via mo.pla, which offers special conditions such as a pause button for an uncomplicated interruption of the subscription. MoPla Solutions works together with Stripe for secure and efficient payment processing and uses Stripe's Connect platform product. Stripe Connect is a software that enables companies to integrate and manage payment processing for third parties. Stripe Connect offers features such as account onboarding, payment processing and identity verification to help businesses meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
